For us it was actually on the way some Indian restaurant from Gold beach to Seattle. But it turned out to be good diversion. Reception was exactly how the receptionist should be and probably its a catch! I was not expecting authentic Indian restuarant and to our surprise it was really good in the suburb. Fried fish was particularly prepared in good flavored dough and chili paneer was good too. We asked for spicy chicken biryani, but it was not that spicy. May its because most of the customers are mostly Americans and so the dishes were more Americanized. But the flavor and taste was nice. Definitely recommended!
We ordered poori chhole and chicken tikka masala with chai and samosa. Nice ambience clean restaurant clean restaurant. Polite staff. Chai was not great and samosa was average but chole poori and chicken tikka masala were great. For desert we had mango desert which was awesome too.
The food was good and service was great. Our server was very attentive, drinks were reasonably priced, and portions were a good size. Overall good experience.
Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! There is a certain level of taste I expect with Indian food, here in the US. Most of the time it hovers around disappointment with acceptance that it will never taste as good as back home. But Royal India stepped above that level. I got the Veg Kadai with paneer, Garlic Naan and brown rice. I asked for a spicy Veg Kadai and I did NOT get raw paprika added on top of the vegetable to make it spicy. I got a flavor of spicy meaning that the paprika was cooked into the curry. The garlic naan was thin, garlicky and well-made. The brown rice was pretty decent. I used Uber Eats to get the food, so can't comment on the location and service. But the food has definitely been better than a lot of Indian restaurants I've tried in medium-sized cities.
Food was delicious. There wasn't much going on when we went in so service was a little slow, but overall a good time.
