Absolutely terrible!! I order three of their #8 (Chinese chicken salad) that were around $12.50 a piece. They are hands down was the worst salads we’ve ever had. The size of the salad was small, like a side salad. We found the hard ends of the lettuce in each of the salads. We will never go back! They’re so many better places around town to buy wonderful salads! It’s has been months since we have eaten here, and you can definitely tell the quality has gone down!
Ordered Chinese Chicken salad-got home, No mandarin oranges, 2 slices of mushrooms, asked for no green onions & had them! Have a $5.00 tip, they should have given me a $5.00 discount! I’ve been a regular customer- spoke to the manager recently re: quality of salads now, she kindly remade my salads, however for costing more, I will Not return after todays sad salad .. too $$ for poor quality.
This used to be one of our fave places to eat when lived here. We always make a point to eat Hawaiian time at least once when in town. Today, we were disappointed to discover they no longer carry the only two items we ever order from here. They no longer sell anything with beef. Unfortunately we didn’t learn this until we had already driven there. Online still shows their full menu. The staff was very friendly though. Parking lot was swarming with high schoolers yelling obscene things at each other, which was kinda of annoying.
Consistently the worst Hawaiian time in town. Wet rice and dry chicken. Pictured is a regular #3 with $4 worth of extra meat.
The food at Hawaiian time is ok. I'm sad they got rid of their beef items. I like their teriyaki sauce, though I always need to ask for more for the rice. My family and I eat here regularly as it's quick and not far down the road. My biggest complaint with Hawaiian time is that all of their restaurants seem to operate at different hours. I've tried to go to one on a Wednesday afternoon once and it was closed. Then the one I normally frequent usually closes at 9:30pm and I arrived at 9:07pm and they were closed. I haven't seen a lot of consistency in their open times. Though I understand it could be due to staffing. The only other thing is that I would love for their chicken to be cut into a bit smaller pieces so that they get a bit more covered in their sauce. Some of the chicken pieces are small and others are huge. Staff is always polite and the insides are nearly always clean, though the one I frequent is usually closed inside and I've had to use the drive through far more times than not.
